Eikon: the New Speaker You Will Hear the Most About...

Like Michael Corleone in Godfather III, "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in," Gayle Sanders, who originally founded the Martin-Logan speaker line together with Ron Sutherland, is back in high end audio with a brand new company and speaker called "Eikon."

What the new speaker is not, is an electrostatic.

What it is is a DSP driven, 4 way powered design to be necessarily sold as a package together with it's digital control unit which handles the D to A, A to D, room correction, and crossover duties. Shown as an advanced prototype, the sound from the two Eikon rooms was promising and aesthetically this $25K package is a head turner.
