New High Performance Footers from Synergistic Research

Synergistic's MiG 2.0 footers ($249/3) have been a high value resonance control option for some years. After an extended period of experimentation SR has now announced a statement footer to take the MiG concept to another level: MiG SX (pictured: $995/3).

Using the above link you can read about the design of this new system which combines the tuned "bell" of the standard MiG with a bearing isolation "cup". Like the MiG 2.0 you can configure the MiG SX's to allow each component to present a more "pinpoint" focused sound, or a fuller, more rounded "ambient" sound by using either a 2 up/1 down or a 1 up/2 down arrangement. We have always found this tune-ability to be useful in getting the best balance out of the system's performance.
