HiFiMan's latest efforts are a planar headphone called Arya ($1599, shipping in November) using the magnet structure from their higher end Sundara model ($6000), and the Jade II electrostatic system encompassing new electrostatic headphones and also an energizer amp (pictured: $2499 for both, shipping in December). These will also be sold individually for $1399 for the headphones and $1599 for the amp, because each can be used with other electrostatic products such as Stax as they incorporate the industry standard 5 pin connector. This Jade II system is derived from their Shangri-La electrostatic systems.
